2013 Ford F-150
Mileage114,569Service Date3/4/2024Services Performed- – Test drove vehicle and found the transmission has a noisy whine. – PO722-00 Output shaft speed sensor circuit (No signal) – On test drive noticed speedometer read 0 mph. – Shortly after, transmission would engage into first gear. – Checked for misfire counts. No misfires at this time. – Tested OSS signal wire has continuity. – Racked vehicle to check fluid level and condition, Fluid is very dirty and burnt. – Used testing equipment to test the output shaft sensor. The wave forms were extremely erratic, these readings usually indicate a damaged reluctant ring. – Took a fluid sample from the transmission, fluid smelt burnt and was dirty, transmission makes a lot of noise. – Recommend new transmission.
